DATES TO BE CONFIRMED

Thank you to all who attended the inaugural Lake Tewa Invitational. The weekend was one to remember, with a stunning gala evening, a hotly contested social round on Saturday and a day of exceptionally high-quality competition on tournament day.

Set within one of the world’s most visually spectacular landscapes at the world-class Jack’s Point championship golf course, the Lake Tewa Pro-Am is set to return next year.

Congratulations to our winner Kerry Mountcastle who shot a 2 under par 70 to take victory on a day which saw the Jack’s Point course at its technical best. Blue skies and a challenging afternoon breeze saw even the best of players abilities tested.

The Tournament

The Lake Tewa Pro-Am Invitational proved to be the ideal warm up to the New Zealand Open, which took place the following weekend in Queenstown.

For Pros, a chance to settle into Queenstown and prepare. For Amateurs, an exclusive opportunity to enjoy the very best of a luxury golf occasion. In setting, service and company, this was one not to miss, with a $50,000 professional prize purse on offer.

For 2025, the event will again be held over 3 days kicking off  with a Gala Evening, followed by a social round on Saturday and the Tournament on Sunday, closing with a prizegiving and wrap party.

The team event will be played in groups of three amateurs and one professional. The team of four will play their own ball and the best two stableford points from the team will count towards each hole, thus ending your 18-hole round with a team score.

The professional event is a gross score off the pro tees.

The Players

2023 saw a field of top-class talent making up the professional field with the likes of Peter Fowler, Steven Alker and Michael Hendry presenting some serious competition on the course.

With dates secured for next year we expect another quality turnout.

Lake Tewa
Summer Lawn Party

Set to become a regular event accompanying the Pro-Am, our first Lake Tewa Summer Lawn Party was a stunning day with locals and out of towners enjoying the best of Jack’s Point hospitality. Food trucks, a festive atmosphere, and Nathan Haines and Jaimie Webster Haines providing live entertainment meant all experienced an incredible taste of what’s on offer at Lake Tewa.

Thank you to our inaugural 2023 sponsors who helped make this event a huge success.
